Job Location: Washington D.C.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required -- BA or BS degree discipline in business, operations research, organizational assessment is preferred - other degrees can be considered if experience demonstrates capability
  • Six (6) years of experience in leading operational analysis and business improvement activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of operational data and map business processes
  • Ability to assess current operations and recommend process and technology improvements
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently
  • Ability to effectively manage several projects at one time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and organized work habits

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategy, governance, and management routines to facilitate informed decision making throughout the organization and lead resource allocation and operational efficiencies
  • Recommend and support implementation of new collection methodologies
  • Expand and consolidate data requirements and analysis capabilities
  • Analyze working effectiveness of organizational programs, divisions, and systems through test methods aimed at identifying defects, gaps and risks; measurement of the adequacy of the output; and assessment of the reliability of the operations
  • Support the identification and collection of key performance indicators to routinely monitor operational effectiveness

Relocation assistance will not be provided.

Must reside in and be willing to commute regularly within the Washington DC metropolitan area, and travel out-of-town within the US (up to 20%).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship of a Visa.
